What’s New at VU
Villanova Tuition Employer Billing Plan.
Does your employer provide upfront tuition benefits? If not, have them join
the Villanova Tuition Employer Billing Plan. If your employer qualifies and
enrolls, a streamlined billing process occurs with your employer
guaranteeing payment of tuition. The benefit to your or your colleagues
taking classes at Villanova is that there’s no need to carry the tuition on
a credit card for the semester. This is yet another benefit to nurses who
are going back to school. If you think this plan is of interest to your
employer as a recruitment and retention strategy, encourage your human
resources or billing officer to call the Villanova Bursar’s Office at
610.519.7961.
Support Group Development.
Because of the importance of support groups to today’s social fabric, the
College’s Continuing Education in Nursing and Health Care Program is
offering a 6.5 contact hour course in
Support Group Development. Course content includes theory, goals, and
methodologies for development. Practical knowledge is included in tips,
strategies, and principles of group management. The course is taught by
Associate Professor Dr. Linda Carman Copel and will be held Friday, May 16,
2003 from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Villanova University. For more
information call 610.519.4930 or email
Louisa Zullo.
