Dear
Alumni Ambassadors,
In 2004, the College of Nursing proudly celebrates its 25th anniversary of providing quality continuing education (CE) in nursing and health care. Since its inception in 1979, the CE program has offered non-credit professional development courses, including workshops, seminars, conferences, a post-master's certificate and short courses offered by experts in the field. Custom designed programs are developed for on-site locations. The CE program is led by professional development expert Assistant Dean and Director Lynore DeSilets, EdD, RN,BC, and has educated more than 15,000 nurses and related health care professionals to date. As the CE program embarks on its future, nurses can look forward to expanded innovative courses, online offerings and further support for the challenges nurses face in their roles. For more information about upcoming programs, visit the CE Web site.
